Leadership & Management Development

One of the areas that we know supports organisations to become great places to work is the strength of their leadership and management. Many organisations promote people into roles without considering the unique set of skills that are required to be an effective manager or leader; particularly in today’s world which is significantly different to how it was just a few years ago. We provide bespoke training in this area for leaders and managers of all levels; whether that be a full year long, action focus development road map or one off refresher sessions. We provide training for Senior Leadership Teams, Middle Management, First Line Managers as well as aspiring managers. We also provide training for board level teams. All our programs are bespoke, creative and unique and built to meet your needs. We can also include unique experiences as part of this work including sailing days, outdoor activities, acting workshops and many more.

Coaching (Individual, Executive, Group)

Coaching is a key enabler of performance, creating a safe space to reflect, create, plan and explore our goals, aspirations, sticky points and problems. Coaching is a core part of most of our work however we work with a small number of executive clients on an ongoing, 121 basis to help them Sparkle. Our executive coaching team are all ICF accredited to a minimum of PCC level, undergo annual Continuing Professional Development and Monthly Supervision; this means you can be confident that we are bringing you the best quality there is. We believe it is this combination of extensive, accredited supervised coaching hours coupled with best in industry training that makes us special.

We offer executive coaching in blocks of 12 sessions and, to ensure it is a good fit, the first discovery session is always free.

Sparkle HR for Charities

We offer specialist HR & training services for Charities and CIC’s. We bring expertise in this field working with national and local charities as well as acting as trustee to a number of charities (both national and local). We know that people services need to be accessible and affordable and our goal is to give you good value for money.

We work with small to medium charities to help you Sparkle and create great places to work and navigate employing people; in pursuit of the delivery of your charitable aims. Whether you work with us on an ongoing basis where we work as your HR partner to support you with everything you need or on a project basis we are here to help. The Culture and Inclusion Roadmap

Do you know what your organisation culture is really like? We offer a culture health check which is often the first stage of any inclusion or culture change work we do.

During this deep dive process we spend time understanding your culture and what it is like to work in your organisation; the good, the bad and the ugly. We spend time really listening to your teams, understanding the nuances of the culture as it is and how this translates into performance. We conduct an audit of the key processes that feed into your culture as well as running focus groups, staff surveys and workshops. At the end we give you a detailed report with everything you need to know in order to make positive changes and add more Sparkle.

Specialist Wellbeing and Inclusion Support for Vets

We provide specialist support to the veterinary sector around Mental Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion. We regularly speak at conferences on these topics and are working in partnership with WSAVA to develop their forthcoming CPD certificate in Professional Development and Personal Wellbeing.

Complex HR Case Management

We have a wealth of experience in employment law and practice. We offer an independent investigation and case management service where our team will pick up a complex case (disciplinary, grievance, discrimination, appeals, settlement negotiations) and independently manage it, providing you with a detailed outcome, recommendations and risk management approaches.

We often work with organizations who have an inhouse HR team but need an independent perspective or on behalf of solicitors who need to offer their client an independent investigation but need to keep themselves free to manage any legal processes that may come.

Creative Thinking Workshops

Creativity is at the heart of everything yet we often don’t invest a lot of time in developing it as adults. We offer creative thinking workshops using a variety of different techniques to help you plan and think together as a team to create new ideas, solve existing problem and make amazing plans. Each workshop is built to meet your individual goals and there is rarely a powerpoint slide in sight. Working with our inhouse artist we capture the conversation and journey of your thinking process in a creative way.

These workshops are ran in a variety of settings, we have navigated the Isle of Wight on a sailboat, hosted rowing races blindfolded across Lake Windemere, ran a variety of problem solving exercises on the shores of Windemere and taken teams on creativity retreats. Equally we have delivered some innovative and different events on company premises and you can come to our premises on the stunning North East coast.

Profiling (DiSC, Heartstyles, MBTI)

We are all unique and communicate in different ways, when we begin to understand our own communication style and that of others we are able to build better relationships. DiSC is a tool that helps us to really focus in on this and creates a platform for improved performance. We are DiSC accredited and offer a range of detailed DiSC reports with in depth individual debriefs as well as team workshops on the topic

Team Development

We are proud to be Heartstyles accredited, a tool which helps individuals and teams understand their behaviours and how they are impacting performance. We offer the Heartstyles profiles as a standalone product, you will receive a detailed report containing a range of 360 feedback and a 121 detailed debrief with an accredited Heartstyles consultant.

This is a tool we often use with teams, blending individual debriefs with team development workshops and leading with heart programs.
